Lupton, Robert P. “Bob”, 65, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012. Public viewing 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Celebration of Bobs life 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the family home, 3835 S. Webb Road, Wichita, KS. Bob retired after 25 years of dedicated service to KG E as a Journeyman Welder. In retirement, Bob enjoyed fishing, helping others, and maintaining his 15-acre home site, in which he took great pride. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his two sons. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert R. and Norma Lou Lupton, and sister, Brenda M. ODonnell. Survivors include wife, Sharon J. of Wichita; sons, Paul M. Lupton of Tulsa, OK, and Layton P. Lupton of Wichita; brother, Bradley M. Lupton; sister, Barbara (Roger) Kenney, all of Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with American Red Cross Disaster Services, Midway Kansas Chapter 1900 East Douglas, Wichita, Kansas, 67214 and Kansas Food Bank, 1919 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67211-3313, where Bob was a volunteer.
