Many memories of Rodger and Dale and family. We were in the same neighborhood and all of us kids were close. So very sorry for the loss of Rodger, I didn’t know about Dale.
Rodger was a great friend and someone I was proud to work alongside at Riverfest. Rodger was always willing to take on the hard work and dirty jobs if it meant making things better for the organization. You could always count on him to step up and lend a hand.
He had that old cowboy work ethic and took pride in getting things done. He’ll be missed by our Redshirt team, and he left some big cowboy boots for the rest of us to try and fill.
I was honored to work around Rodger at Festivals. He was a no-fusd, get-it-done volunteer leader, and his laugh could turn a room around… tiredness to energy, chores to mischief. He was the very best.
