Crispin, Roger H., 68. Roger began his life in Council Bluffs, IA, the son of Leonard Bernice Vallier Crispin. He passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his home in Wichita, KS after battling cancer for 16 months. Roger grew up on a farm near Missouri Valley, IA. He attended Riverview School and graduated from Missouri Valley High School and Iowa State University. He worked for Humble Oil in Baytown, TX and Koch Engineering in Wichita, KS. He retired earlier this year from his favorite job as president of Midwest Iron and Metal in Hutchinson, KS. Roger Ruth Divelbess were married in Missouri Valley, IA in 1968. They had two sons, Aaron Adam. Roger was a member of East Heights United Methodist Church where he was a leader of Family Life Sunday School Class. He also spent time coaching Blessed Sacrament baseball, being a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Program, serving on the Board of the North Branch YMCA, being involved in Cub Scouts, serving as an AYSO officer, serving as chairman of Hyde Elementary Site Council and chairman of Robinson Middle School Foundation and calling Bingo at Hyde Beagle Bash. He enjoyed his family, cooking, golfing and going to movies. Roger was preceded in death by his parents nephew Mark Crispin. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruth; their sons Aaron (Maggie) of Los Angeles, CA Adam (Ellen) of Wichita, KS; 2 grandchildren, Wyatt Roger Jane of Los Angeles, CA; his brother Larry (Sandy) Crispin Dennis (Connie) Crispin; brothers-in-law Wayne (Jen) Divelbess Jim (Jill) Divelbess all of Missouri Valley, IA; 7 nieces nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 29 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 6555 E Central, Wichita, KS. A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30 at 11:00 A.M. at East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E Douglas, Wichita, KS.
