Prayers for Joanie and the family! Sure loved all those times we spent with y’all in Corpus! We always loved Roger’s stories and y’all’s sweet puppies. And we sure loved the time we spent with y’all in your home several years back when we were traveling home from Montana. Sure love you Joanie. Will keep you in my prayers!
Love, Elaine Faires
My name is Todd Penick. I met Roger in February 2007, in Corpus Christi Texas. I was staying in the condo above his and Joanies’. We started talking and he had never really been successful at catching fish down there, so I told him when I returned in late March, I would be happy to take he and Joanie fishing and teach them how to catch fish in Corpus. When I and my family returned we took them fishing with us and Joanie caught lots of fish, but Roger not so much, LOL. But that started a long and blessed relationship that I will cherish the rest of my life.
My sincere condolences to Roger’s family and loved ones! Sending my love and prayers to all of you!

We met Joanie and Roger in Port Aransas, TX in 2005. Our RV’s were parked close to each other. Roger was so friendly and welcoming to two campers from PA. We became fast friends and for the past 28 years have done many things together.
Roger willingly helped us, offered good advise, and shared many stories and life experiences. We will miss Roger and extend our deepest sympathy to Joanie and all the family.
Joanie and family, I’m so very sorry to hear about Roger. My heart hurts for you!! I’m sending you warm thoughts and hugs and love and prayers!! Thinking of you!!
Love, Dora and Bill Yoder.
We love and miss you so much, Roger. We wish life never ended. Joanie, we love you and wish you nothing but healing and understanding while trying to cope with losing your best friend and soulmate. He is so missed.
Love, Sam and Brandon.
We were sad to hear about the passing of Roger. I will always cherish the stories, the advice, (often unsolicited) but always welcomed, and the long conversations. He would come out early in the morning to walk his beloved dogs and an hour later Joanie would have to come find him because he was outside talking and telling a story. There was hardly a topic he couldn’t contribute to. Whether you’re talking trucks, tractors, cows or 5th wheels he always had the best advice. Our condolences to Joanie and family.
