Rogers, Leslie Leonard “Les”, Jr., 67, died February 29, 2012. Leslie was born in Mount Hope, West Virginia on February 14, 1945, Our Valentine Sweetheart; Leslie retired from Boeing after 27 years. He served 4 years in United States Air Force and was an avid bowler and loved old cars. He will be deeply missed. Rosary Service, 11:00 A.M, and Funeral Mass, 11:30 A.M., both Saturday, March 3, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Eleanor Rogers; sister, Eleanor Jane. He is survived by wife of 43 years Juanita; daughters, Nicole Thomas and Lesley Rogers; grandchildren, Danielle and Tanner Thomas; dog, Daphne Doodle; brothers, C.J. Rogers (Cora) and Oral Richard Rogers; sisters, Judy Coleman and Shirley Clower; sister-in-law, Anita Moreno “Ni-Ni”, and numerous family and friends. Les,was such a kind,loving and very caring man. We feel knowing Les, has been a real treasure to our hearts. Les had the gift of loving and accepting others as they are. He will be carried in our hearts all the days of our lives. We are deeply sorry for his loss and he will be greatly missed.
