Ronald D. Land, 77, retired WSU physical plant carpenter and longtime local musician, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Rosary will be at 10:00 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, both on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Land and Joan Smith; brother, Mike Land; aunts, Kathleen Pipkin, Marie Seavey; uncles, George Seavey, Bob Land; and cousin, Bobby Land. Survived by his wife, Lisa Land; daughter, Tonia Land; sons, Kevin (Shelby) Land, Jason Land; grandchildren, Anthony Lyon Land, Lily Land, Charlotte Land, Penelope Land; brother, Russ (Geneva) Land; sister, Janie (Mark) Myers; aunts and uncles, Emily (Butch) Brandon, Carol Pierce, Alan Seavey, Charlene Land. Memorials have been established with: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, Sierra Club, Southwind Group, P. O. Box 11415, Overland Park, KS 66207-1415, and St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2007 N. Arkansas Ave., Wichita, KS 67203. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary – West Chapel.
