Ronald Loren Tucker

Ronald Loren Tucker, 75, departed this life on May 21, 2015 in Wichita, Kansas. Ron was born August 2, 1939 in Wichita to William Loren and Velma Smith Tucker. He graduated from Wichita North High School in 1957 and was drafted into the U.S. Army in May, 1962. On August 20, 1966, Ron and Roberta S. Beyer were married in Glendale, Missouri. After 30 years with Western Electric as a telephone equipment installer, Ron retired in 1992. He then went on to work a couple of part-time jobs for the next 22 years. Ron enjoyed woodworking and attending craft shows to sell his creations, and also enjoyed his daily walking and social time with friends at the mall. Survivors: wife, Roberta; daughter, Ronda Hamilton, and her husband, Aaron; grandchildren, Lauren Elyse and Samuel Tucker Hamilton; and brother, Elwyn L. Tucker.
