Ronald Mourning, 77, retired aircraft manufacturing employee, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling the world with his wife Cathy.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Eliene Mourning; brothers, Roger William Mourning, Robert “Bob” Mourning, Richard Lee Mourning; nephew, Shawn Lee Mourning; and daughter, Carrie Mourning-Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Mourning of Wichita, KS, step-daughters, Tiffany (Jonathan Jones) Biggs of Harper, KS, Crystal (Chris) Travaille of Savannah, GA; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

I’m so sorry to hear that Ron passed. My heart goes out to Cathy who I know he loved very much. A life long friend, I will miss him a lot. Ron and Cathy will be forever in my heart. God Bless you Ron.
I so enjoyed working with Ron. I remember him laughing and cutting up. Praying for the family. Rest in peace.
Ron was a very kind and smart man had the pleasure of working with him at Beech Aircraft we also did alot of hunting and fishing he will be greatly missed.
