Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I would like to express my deepest sadness about the loss of my very good friend, Ron. We spent may an hour playing basketball together at West High school. It was an honor of knowing him and the world will be a lesser place without him. May God bless him and his family.
My thoughts and prayers are with Dori and the whole Setchell family. Ron and I first met in the 10th grade at West High where we played on the basketball team. Ron was always happy and practiced and played hard. But always fair. Im happy to say that Ron and I were friends for almost 50 years. Its so sad the God called Ron home so fast, but God must have needed a special angel and he chose Ron, and I know that Ron in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ arms today. Dori, its hard to say but I hope you and your family will celebrate Rons life and not morn his death for Ron is at peace now. I know that if you ever need Ron, all you have to do is look up and talk to him and he will be there for you. May God continue to bless you and your family. I will be there for you if you need anything.
Dear Dori & Family I was so saded to hear of Rons passing,I don’t get out much but was lucky to run in to a friend who told me. I know we spoke just in passing but do know he will be missed by many who had the chance to know him, for the good person he is to us all.I wanted to send a e-mail card but this will have to do, I’m not to good with words, but know my prayers will be there for you all and surely for Ron
Dear Family and Friends of Ron Setchell, I am of course deeply saddened by Rons untimely passing. At the same time, I feel so fortunate to have counted Ron as a friend during our school days together in Wichita. Although Ron and I dropped out of touch after I moved away, he has always been in my mind. I am glad that we had an opportunity recently to catch up a bit on old times. It meant a great deal to me to know that Ron remembered me, just as I will continue to remember him–with a joyful heart. With my deepest sympathy, Rudy Richardson (Ann Arbor, MI)
Dori, Brooke and Brenna, I have so many fond memories of your family from my childhood. You were all such a huge part of it. I am truly sorry for your loss, Ron was a wonderful person, and I am fortunate to have had him in my life at such an important time. You will be in my prayers. With love, Jolene Garver
I remember meeting him on a few different occassions and coming away impressed with his overall demeanor. I could see where his daughters got their great personalities and work ethics. They were great kids, and obviously, he was a big part of this. I am sorry for your loss and will hold you up in my prayers.
My regrets go out to Ron’s family. I have known Ron since we were 14 years old and while we didn’t keep in touch over the years that doesn’t mean that I didn’t think about him and I am saddened at his passing.
