Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Clara Zerr; eight of her nine brothers, and her loving husband of 55 years, Charles Richard. She leaves behind her two daughters, Susan Sill and Julie Cheney, and son-in-law, Tom; her four granddaughters, Andrea Ellsworth (Chris), Jennifer Mellick (Wade), Kerri Browne (Chris), Kristen Wesolowsky (Will), and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister and one brother. Rose was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, on March 13, 1922. She was a homemaker, a loving wife and a kind and extraordinary mother who always put her family first and had a unique ability of making everyone she met feel special. Rose was a long-standing member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge clubs and from a young age had a passion for exercise which she continued well into her 90s. We will miss her unconditional love and welcoming spirit. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
