Ruby N Veach

Veach, Ruby N., 89, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 in Hurst, TX. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 19 with service 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 20, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Ruby was born October 17, 1919 in Cedar Point, KS to John and Florence Carpenter. Her hobbies included golf, fishing, riding, traveling and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 brothers and sisters. Survivors: son, Gary E. Veach (Phyllis K.) of Colleyville, TX; sister, Carol Cale of Great Bend, KS; grandchildren, Brian Veach, Brenda Hernandez and Brad Johnson; great-grandchildren, Michelle Prendiz, Derrick Veach, Samantha McDowell, Chris Johnson and Jonathan Johnson. A memorial has been established with Bishop Davies Hospice, 2712 Hurstview Dr., Hurst, TX, 76054. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 19 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
