Shue, Ruth B., 80, retired Southwestern Bell supervisor, died Monday, January 1, 2007. She was born February 23, 1926 to Melville and Florence (Kirkendoll) Jones. Service, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 6, Ascension Lutheran Church. Ruth was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 50 years and was active in 20th Century Club, Hypatia, League of Women Voters, and her church. In addition she was in the Red Hat Society and loved to play cards and travel. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, and grandson, Alex. Survivors: son, Randy; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Ross Ailslieger, all of Wichita; grandsons, Paul Ailslieger of Wichita, Kristafer Ailslieger of Topeka. Downing and Lahey West.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Ruth many years ago. She was always such a loving and caring person and touched all she worked with in a positive way.
Sharon and Russ, my heart goes out to you at this time. Your mother was one of the kindest, honest, and independent person I encountered. Her faith was an example to many, and just a joy to know.
