Schwarz, Sara Lee Hosack, born to Archie and Velma Grisso Hosack in Seminole, Oklahoma on March 4, 1938, died on July 4, 2008 at 11:17 P.M., in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 70 with a heart full of love and weakened by the disease she fought and challenged throughout her adult life. Sara moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1991 when she married Hal D. Schwarz of Wichita. A teacher by profession, Sara was passionate about helping children love to learn and read. From California to New Jersey and France to Texas she performed her magic and built her circle of friends. She is survived by her husband, Hal, brother, William A Hosack, wife, Nell and sons, Douglas and Daniel. Her legacy will persevere through her son, Clay Reale, wife, Naomi and sons, Gage and Baker as well as numerous cousins and friends. Preceding Sara in death were her parents, oldest brother, Don and his wife, Anna. While in Wichita, Sara was privileged to work with an outstanding staff of teachers and friends as a reading specialist for Derby Hills Elementary School. Sara had a welcoming smile. When she said “hello!” she was also saying “who are you” and wanting your personal bio. As she journeyed through life, Sara met and collected many friends who will miss her dearly. One friend described time spent with Sara as super fabulous, terrifically terrific, wondrously wonderful and just down right fun!!! She has left us wanting more hugs and bigger smiles in our future. 1. Sara, what a great gal! You were always so much fun to talk to. And you loved not having to wait in line with push-button phone technology when you called me at the bank. Sorry that we couldn’t get together for our June lunch date. Sorry that we didn’t make that trip to France. We miss you. Rosie

  2. Dear Mr. Schwarz and Family, I worked at Talbots Petites with Sara. She was a delight to work with! I will miss her smiling face and her classic style. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Janelle Kohman Heaney
