Sharron Pecenka

Sharron Pecenka, 65, retired Administrative Assistant for Grant Thornton, LLC, fantastic pianist, wonderful wife and mother who loved being “Mema”, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. Visitation with family is 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at Downing and Lahey West Mortuary and funeral service is 10:00 am Thursday at Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd, Wichita, KS 67212. Preceded in death by her parents, Bill Betty McConnell. Survivors include her husband Larry Pecenka of Wichita, KS; children, Christopher Lee (Michelle) Pecenka of Plano, TX, Terri Lynn (Kyle) Hansen of Wichita, KS; sisters, Marsha (Jim) Garritson of Lees Summitt, MO, Toni (Larry) Bradford of Moscow, KS; grandchildren, Jadyn, Zane, Addison, Chloe, Suzie, Audrey and Kenadee. Memorials have been established with the Sedgwick County Zoo, Elephant Exhibit, 5555 W. Zoo Blvd, Wichita, KS 67212 and Pathway Church, Music Department.
