Shaun Michael Keller, 47, passed away on February 18, 2026. He was born on January 25, 1979, in Wichita, Kansas to G. Lawrence “Terry” Keller and Mary Gretchen Keller. A loving father, son, brother and friend to everyone, he took no greater joy over the last 7 years than spoiling his daughter.
A Wichitan for most of his life, he was a man of simple needs: a pair of crocs, a raging fire, friends to converse with, and a dog by his side. An addictive personality that could draw you in like a moth to a flame, he had a sunny disposition when the chips were down and lifted everyone’s spirits who knew him. Shaun was a dreamer, who made those dreams a reality. He owned several businesses in Wichita, most recently making his hometown prettier through his lawn care business. A tireless worker, if he wasn’t mowing, he was helping someone else’s business, promoting Wichita companies, defrosting a friend’s pipes, fixing a stranger’s car, or otherwise making the world a better place.
Shaun could always be found with The Good Book in his hand, a few coins in his pocket and a willingness to help anyone in need. From an early age, he never met a stranger. This attribute would serve him well as an active member in the Recovery Community. As someone who had dealt with addiction and seen its nastier side, Shaun was sober for over 20 years and used his experiences to hold others accountable, sponsor many, and spend countless hours dedicated to sober living for all. It is rare a human finds his purpose in life and dedicates his life to those efforts so tirelessly, yet Shaun did.
Shaun met the love of his life the day he became a father and Willow entered his world. They enjoyed so many adventures together and nothing was too “girlie” for Shaun: Father/Daughter dances, mani/pedis, even hairstyling his bald head. Weekly video chats with family and friends made everyone feel important. And who could forget weekly trips for ice cream? He shined brightest though once he became a father.
He is survived by his daughter, Willow Gretchen Keller; his English Mastiff, Waffles; sister, Heather Keller Fuller (Ray) of Overland Park, KS; and brothers, G. Lawrence Keller III (Natalie) of Stockton, CA and Matthew Cannon (Carla) of Crestwood, KY; along with 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Brian Christopher.

My thoughts and prayers with the family and most especially Willow. Shaun was a friend for the last 13 years having worked together at WK. He was truly a light to his friends and such an amazing Daddy to Willow. The world truly lost one of the good ones. He will be watching over all of us from Heaven.
