Sheila Joyce (Hooper) Germeroth Born August 31, 1959, Smith Center, KS, third daughter of Stanley Earl and Helen Joyce (Patman) Hooper. Died February 24, 2018, Wichita, KS. Married May 13, 2006, Trinity Lutheran Church, Denver, CO, to David Germeroth. Baptized October 1959, First Presbyterian Church, Smith Center, KS. Graduated from Phillipsburg, KS High School, 1977. Graduated from Fort Hays State University, 1981. Worked primarily in the insurance business throughout her career, for firms in Salina, KS, Hays, KS, Denver, CO, and Greenwood Village, CO. Was a gifted piano and organ player. Enjoyed attending college sporting events far and wide with her husband. Enjoyed traveling to various locations throughout the world. Was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Denver, CO. Survived by her mother, Helen Hooper, Smith Center, KS, and a sister, Sharon Hooper, Derby, KS. Preceded in death by her father, Stanley Hooper; sister, Suzan Hooper Kern; brother-in-law, Donald Kern. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 5, 2018, at Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center, KS. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4225 W. Yale Ave., Denver, CO.
