Sphar, Shelby Gene, 67, Retired from Texaco Oil Refinery, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Visitation with the Family will be from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M., Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East; Rosary will follow at 6:00. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 19, 2014, at Ascension Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Nancy Sphar; son, Brett (Shawna) Sphar of Wichita; daughter, Lanie (Ron) Hladik of Mulvane; step-children, Vickie Anderson of Bel Aire, Jennifer Collins of Gypsum, CO; sister, Jacque (Tom) Ragsdale of Wichita; brother, Gary (Patsy) Sphar of Leon, KS; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
