Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dear Ken and family, I am so sorry to hear about the death of your father and husband. He was such a nice and distinguished man. Seems so long ago, but I remember him singing in church. You always knew when Mr. Sherman was up there in the choir loft — a strong and beautiful voice. Mrs. Sherman, you and your husband raised kind and caring children, and you all have my condolences on your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Madame Sherman, Tom, Mary, and family: Thinking of y’all during this hour of sorrow. May God’s grace give you strength and support in your hour of need. Warmest condolences,
God will sustain you for He is faithful and will never forsake you. May His love comfort and assure you now and always! Praying for you,
Jack and I want to offer our Deepest Sympathy to some wonderful and dear friends that lived on Larkin Dr. when we lived in Wichita. We will keep your family and Marge in our prayers.
I am truly very sad to know of the passing of my dear friend, and co-worker in Contracts at Boeing. Bernie was very dedicated to his work and the Boeing Company. I enjoyed being under his supervision for a while, and appreciated his being a patient and understanding manager. He was so very proud of his ‘Margy’ and her devotion to family. And..he was so interested, involved, and devoutly proud of all of the children. We worked together in the late seventies, and the children were still pretty young and aspiring to Bernie’s hopes and dreams. Not a more dedicated HUSBAND and FATHER have I ever experienced. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have been able to have shared some of my life’s experiences with ‘Bernie’, and treasure the memories of those bygone days. I had a little blue pin striped Toyota pickup when we worked together. I had put a air horn (like the semi trucks use) under the hood of my small pickup. Bernie loved to hear me blow that horn especially the few times, I would take him home on my way home. I can still vizualize that big wide happy grin the sound of that horn would bring to his face when I would pull on the horn valve. A wonderful friend he surely was!!! May you all know he has made the world a better place for all of us. May our dear Lord bless and comfort each and everyone of you as you lay Bernie in his final place of rest. With warmest regards, Duane Van Camp
