Sondra Kay (Holder) Boyer

Sondra Kay (Holder) Boyer Sondra was born in Wichita, Kansas, on May 28, 1942, to the late Keith and Isabel (Dreher) Holder. She passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. Sondra was a devoted, faithful, loving, thoughtful, caring, giving, imaginative and creative mother, grandmother, niece, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved God and her Catholic faith, reading, cooking, gardening, her violets, flowers, painting and crafting. Sondra always said, "Talk to Jesus, and get some sleep. He will guide you," and "Its such a blessing to be a mom." Preceded in death by her son, Philip Boyer, and grandsons, Cameron and Aaron Boyer. Sondra loved her family and cared for them always, and will be missed by her survivors: children, Brian (Sherry) Boyer of Anna, TX, Lynn Moore (Mark Urban) of Wichita, Keith (Jen) Boyer of Tomball, TX, Mike Boyer of Junction City, Don Boyer (Cathy Griffee) of Clay Center and David (Christine) Boyer of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Brian, Chelsi, Brook, Luke, Garrett, Cole, Kim, Casey, Nate and Alexis; great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Flores and Joni (Mark) Russell all of Wichita; her godchild, Theresa; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosary, 10 a.m.; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., both Friday, September 22 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
