Stephen Donowick

Stephen M. Donowick, 59, Johnson Controls Human Resources Manager, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. Memorial Service, 11 a.m., Saturday, December 8, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Steve was involved in numerous community works and was a mentor, advisor and good friend to many. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Steve has been met by St. Peter at Heavens Gate with a winning jackpot slot machine. Preceded in death by parents, George and Nancy (Babcock) Donowick. Survivors: wife, Susan; children, Matthew “Human” Donowick of Ashland, OR and Nicole Donowick and boyfriend, Ashley Collins of Orlando, FL; siblings, Tim Donowick (Marcia) of Modesto, CA and Kathy Brusgard (Tom) of Riva, MD; aunts, Marion Costello, Barbara Babcock and Kay Hammond; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Butch), Debbie and Rene; many beloved nieces and nephews; best friends, Cos and Debbi; loyal companion, Sophie.
