Stephen Edgar Robison, 72, Retired Attorney with Fleeson, Gooing, Coulson & Kitch, LLC, died April 13, 2020. Memorial Service at a later date. Mr. Robison is one of four Kansas lawyers appointed by the Chief Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court to serve on the Kansas Judicial Council, a group dedicated to the improvement of substantive and procedural law in Kansas. He is listed in The Best Lawyers In America and in Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Preceded by his father, Max Robison; mother, Marjorie Gilbert. Survived by: son, Eric Robison of Wichita; daughter, Emily (boyfriend, Joseph Slagel) Robison of Dallas, TX; step-daughter, Laurie Wright of Clearwater, KS; sister, Kae (Frank) Hess of Rogers, AR; step-sisters, Judy (Denni) Brendel of Pasco, WA, Lynn (Dan) Weides of Scott City, KS, Bhavani (Bhadagan) Metro of Buckingham, VA, Diane Ballard of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; companion, Linda Constable of Wichita. This wonderful man came into my life when I was six years old. He has been a great father and friend. I am thankful for the countless memories I have of him. Growing up with him he taught me so many things. He is the smartest man I have ever known and one of the kindest. I have had the privilege of calling him dad for over 40 years. This is a great loss for our family but I know he is better off than anyone left here. I love you with all my heart. You will never be forgotten.
What a delightful kind, smart, generous handsome, fun, and funny human being and brother to five sisters. He shared his beautiful laugh and zest for life with all of us. We are so proud of him and all the amazing accomplishments he achieved throughout his life. He was a blessing in our lives and will be missed.
Steve will always be loved and admired. I think of him often and remember his stories and that smile. He will be missed.

I am so proud to have known Steve Robison and to have worked with him on a legal case in the last several years. His longtime reputation for integrity and excellence serve as a marvelous legacy. He was a wonderful man, and a joy to know. Wichita’s legal community has lost one of its finest jewels. May God bless Steve and his family.

Steve was a true gentleman, in all the best, old-fashioned senses of that word. He was kind, honorable, and always true to his word. He was also a truly fine attorney. He will be deeply missed.
Steve was a wonderful neighbor and fellow board member of our Woodspring HOS. He was so knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful, it was my pleasure to serve with him. I’ll miss our chats at the mailbox. RIP Steve, my condolences to his family.
