  1. I am so very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. I truly enjoyed working with Steve and he was such a brilliant man, we had great conversations that I will miss. My condolences to the entire family. Liz McGinness, Wichita

    • Steven Batt was our first cousin as his mother and our dad were brother and sister. We spent many Christmas’s at our Keehn Grandparents and the Batt and Keehn kids had a lot in common. Cousins in many ways are just like your brothers and sisters. After all you are being raised by parents that were siblings. That is how it was with Steven. He was just like an older brother. As well I echo Liz’s comments. Steve was an intellectual and you could cover a lot of different topics with him and he was well versed in all of them. He will be missed for sure.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. He was a very good friend to my mother and brother and his help to them was invaluable. I had the pleasure of meeting him several times and he was good to read a scripture passage at our mother’s funeral Mass. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the righteous, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
