Steve Adams, 57, retired truck driver and camping enthusiast, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary with visitation to follow until 8:30 pm. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church – Valley Center with luncheon to follow. Funeral Service will be livestreamed and available to watch by clicking the “Watch Funeral Service” below. Graveside Service will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, January 23, 2026, at Valley Center Cemetery.
Steve loved trains, camping, building model trucks and spending time with family. He was an avid PitMaster and loved to watch the NDSU Bison and KSU football teams. Steve was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in the men’s bible study and in the choir. He volunteered at the Great Plains Transportation Museum for many years.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Dawn Adams. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Adams; children, Megan Dauer, Mandi (Grant) Brazill, Miranda (Sydney) Burnaz, Dana Adams, Thomas Adams, Tony Adams; grandchildren, Justin Holt, Alyssa Holt, Dominick Brazill, Kozak Adams; sisters, Tina (Bob) Mellinger, Tiffany (Mike) Walling, Nicole Gichini; brothers, Robert (Debbie) Adams, Andy (Britanny) Adams; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with: Great Plains Transportation Museum, 700 East Douglas Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
