Jerry and Steve were great friends and fishing buddies for over forty years. They fished many tournaments around Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Bass fishing was probably their first love, but there were many, many trout fishing trips to Roaring River, and Striper fishing in Arkansas. A friendship like theirs is hard to find, and Steve will be missed. Our condolences to Donna and to Steve’s kids.
Steve was always a Class Act I met him through Flint Hills Bass Club and I fished one of his circuits the Flatlanders team tournaments. He’s always at the top of his game it seemed like i admired him and looked up to him he was a good man. I’d offered one what happened to him through the years I should have known that he would be down there at Grand Lake
