Steven Fowler, 67 of Rose Hill, Retired AT&T Cable Splicing Technician, died Monday, January 8, 2024. Steven was very patriotic. A devoted husband, he loved grilling on the patio. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his many friends and especially enjoyed all his friends coming out to the shop. He loved his home and working on his property. He will be missed forever.Preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Edna Fowler; brothers, Jim and Paul Fowler. Survived by his wife, Mary D. Fowler; brother, Jerry (Treva) Fowler of Smolan, KS; sister, Janice Fowler; sister-in-law, Valerie Fowler Anderson of Humbolt, AZ.A memorial has been established with: Mt. Hope Animal Sanctuary, 15007 E. Greenfield Rd., Burrton, KS 67020.Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

  5. I have not really interacted with Steve much since high school and in particular elementary school years. I will always remember how much fun we had, whether it was playing neighborhood pick-up sports or just messing around. RIP Steve, and sympathy to family.

  6. I knew Steve through my husband. They played alot of golf together along with Mark Thomas. They were quite a group. They were so funny and always had a good time. Steve was one of the nicest person I have ever met. May you all find peace in his memories. RIP Steve

  8. My condolences to you Mary and Family.Steve and I have been friends since high school I have a lot of memories of hunting and fishing trips to Dave’s farm and Phil’s ranch. He would always bring Mary’s cookies for all of us guys to enjoy. Steve and I enjoyed discussing when the orioles and hummingbirds were visiting our area and keeping tabs on each other sighting .
