Steve was my boss for 35 years, but in reality, he was more my friend. He was the kindest person I’ve ever known. Steve always treated his employees as family, making an environment of respect for each other and making work a fun place to be. The world is a little less loving with you gone, my friend, love you always.
I worked with Dr Steve for a number of years, was a really great boss and friend. He and Becky treated me and my husband like family from the first day. Steve, you will be missed by Kendall and I, we love you and fly high my friend!!๐ข๐๐๐
Dr. Steve was a super kind, giving and loving man. My first little playmate, my sweet cousin, Steve! You will be missed! Love to you all and a special hug for Sharon and Cyndi. Carla Long
One of a kind! He had the biggest heart and sweetest soul!
My condolences to the whole Tweitmeyer staff and family. Although I didn’t know Steve personally, I always heard positive comments and praise for his compassion for his patients and family. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless, and may Steve rest in peace!
Dr. Steve helped me get over my fear of dentists. He was my friend and dentist for many, many years and I loved him dearly. He had an ornery sense of humor and I enjoyed joking around with him so much. I’ll miss you Steve.
Steve was a wonderful man a great cousin who will be missed by all. My prayers and love are sent to the entire family, Aunt Sharon,Cyndi, Libby, and Charlie hugs to you all.
Dr. Steve was my dentist for many years, I’ve went to him and Dr. Becky since I was a little girl. Steve was one of the kind, he loved KSTATE football as much I did. He will be truly missed. Rest in Peace Dr. Steve
I first met Steve when I was new to the Wichita dental community and he and I were both volunteering our time and services in the evenings at the Healthy Options Clinic in Plainview. He was always one of the friendliest colleagues in our profession and took serious interest in the lives of those around him. He will be dearly missed.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Dr. Steveโs family. He was my instructor at WSU in the early 90โs and was lucky enough to call him my boss for 9 years. Enjoyed talking KSU athletics with him and attended a game or two together. He was one of kind with the biggest heart. ๐ Sending prayers for all of you.
I had the pleasure of getting to know “Dr. Steve”, as we all called him, through his time at the personal training studio. Typically 3 days a week for nearly a decade…I learned some things about him. Like, no matter what was going on in his life, he somehow always found a positive, and ended up making me smile… and he hated burpees. His kindness and generosity to those around him was unmatched. I will be forever grateful to him for his support as a client, and even moreso, a friend. Praying blessings of strength and comfort over those who are mourning this great loss.
I was lucky enough to work with Dr Twietmeyer over the last year. He provided quality care to the patients of GraceMed and mentored 4th year students of three dental schools. Steve will be missed by the staff and patients of GraceMed. He was a good friend and colleague.
Dr. Steve was my mentor, employer and friend. He employed me as a high schooler and was such a great teacher and encourager that I went on to pursue dental hygiene as a career. My heartfelt love and sympathies to all his family in this loss. Until we meet again, rest in Jesus.
GraceMed Dental won’t be the same without you Dr. Twietmeyer.. I had the pleasure of working with him for the past 7 months, always coming in with a beautiful smile and greeting me by saying it’s going to be a beautiful day. You will be missed! My thoughts and prayers to everyone mourning this beautiful soul we lost.
I am heartbroken to hear the news of Steve’s passing into God’s care. Steve and I grew up together in west Wichita. We were close classmates at Peterson Elementary and Ascension Lutheran Church. We studied together, sang choir together, and were Boy Scouts together. He was my best friend. Our college years separated us – Steve attended K-State while I went to KU. But I always enjoyed coming back home to catch up with Steve and Sharon at church on Sundays. Steve was a loyal, kindhearted, caring, and encouraging friend. We learned much together growing up. His faith in the Lord was strong. I will miss him beyond words. I pray for peace for Sharon and Cyndi, Libby, and Charlie during this difficult time. We will meet again, Steve. your old friend, Paul
Steve was a great friend and brother. We had many laughs together especially in the KSU days. A few years back he did an emergency root canal for a teenage daughter as our family was driving in Wichita from out of state. He was a savior and loved by all.
Steve was a great friend, always willing to help. To Charlie and family ,our sincere condolences.
We went to the KState Championship with Steve and Ben and it was the greatest time of my life. I’m so sorry Ben, Steve was an amazing man. I love you both๐๐ค๐๐คWe are all here for you today!
I met Dr. Steve Twietmeyer at the new employee orientation at Grace Med in June of 2023. I literally had just rolled in to KS from AZ the night before. So, even though we were both experienced dentists, we started as new dentists at GM together.
From that moment on, Steve befriended me. He was warm, kind, and engaging towards me. We helped each other get through the training process at GM.
I didn’t see Steve that much because we worked at different clinics. But we still communicated regularly about dental cases and our personal lives. We also would catch up at All -Staff events.
Steve loved his Mom, children, and grandkids so much. He talked about you All constantly! He was so very proud of you All.
It was an honor to have the opportunity to get to know Steve and call him my friend, even for a brief time. I will treasure our friendship forever.
I send my deepest condolences to you, his family.
Warmest regards,
Christina Pace, DDS
