  13. I am very saddened to hear the news. Father Steve was my Uncle, he was the younger brother to my dad Robert E. Scheier who passed away 12 years ago. I wished I was closer & knew him better but his faith in our Lord I never doubted. I loved hearing stories about him and my dad when they were younger. If anyone would like to reach out to me and share their stories about my Uncle I would love this. Thank you, Jennifer

  14. May you rest in peace knowing that your life really has made a difference in so many young people’s lives as I shared your testimony with them. Thank you.

May Our Lady joyfully bring you to Our Lord and say, “This priest is mine, he is ready for The Kingdom!” Rest In Peace and thank you for your service and for being humble and grateful for your second chance. • So, so Beautiful!!! God’s Power and Light through Your Words brought tears to my eyes – tears of Joy!!! May God Continue to Richly Bless You and Yours through the Immaculate Heart of Mary Our Mother!

  16. My condolences to family. I will never forget his testimony of meeting the Lord and hearing Our Blessed Mother speak to save him in God’s Mercy after his accident. I know he is Heaven now.

  17. Greetings and condolences to Father’s friends and family. My name is Ted Flynn and I was the one who put Father’s personal testimony in my documentary Prophecy and the New Times in 1995. From that film his story expanded to tens of millions of people and became an inspiration of a man who told the raw truth about himself and the Church. It was through his quiet courage his story touched millions of people in many other appearances at venues throughout the years. He has reached his eternal reward. Ted Flynn, Virginia

  20. Rest in peace my good friend Father Steven. You are fondly remembered here in New Zealand who heard you speak at our 1998 Eucharistic Convention here in Auckland, New Zealand. Your story was so inspiring and left a deep impression on all who heard it. Still available on Youtube, it continues to touch hearts around the world through social media. Rest in Peace beloved priest of God.

  21. To Fr. Stephen Scheier, family, and loved ones: I thank Fr. Stephen Scheier for his witness which has inspired many. His testimony needs to be seen by all clergy from the Pope to all the bishops, priests, seminarians, and missionaries. It is critical for the Shepherds that the flock of Christ may be lead safely through this journey in life. I was privileged to have been able to recognize Fr. Scheier while he was with the Intercessors of the Lamb in Omaha while a guest in the Sto. Nino Fiesta celebration. I had seen his testimony and recognized him. I am certain that our Lady has assured his salvation through the special graces bestowed upon him. I pray for his soul and ask that he remember mine and my daughter, Alyssa, and all of ours. May he rest in peace.

  22. I just saw this today that Father Steven Scheier had passed away on April 16th—Holy Thursday. What a beautifully fitting day for God to call home to Him one of His beloved priests and I am confident that Our Lady was there to meet him! May he Rest In Peace!

    • Thank You for pointing out that Our Lord Called him on Holy Thursday!! “Quis ut Deus??!” So PERFECT!

  23. Fr. Scheier thank you so much for your truth and witness. The world needs more priests like you.

  24. My condolences to everyone affected by Fr. Scheiers passing. He had a very profound impact on my faith life with his appearances on EWTN and other sources. I hope we can all pray for his soul and have gratitude for the witness and truth he brought us.

  25. I just heard of your story last night. I went and googled your name and saw that you passed away a couple of weeks ago. I’m so sorry. Praying for your soul and for your family and your parishioners

  26. O God, Eternal Father, we thank You for Your mercy, for entrusting this soul to Your Blessed Mother, Our Lady and Mother, and allowing him to return here to awaken souls, and become holy and pleasing in Your eyes. Blessed Mother, we pray You embrace all who fly to Your protection, so that we too may see the Face of Thy Beloved Son, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May the Holy Angels lead Fr. Scheier to paradise. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, let Thy perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace. Amen.

We were blessed to hear Fr. Scheier at a Catholic Conference.give his testimony of his Experience with Our Lord and Blessed Mother after his first death. My husband was so moved by his Talk, that as Father was walking by our table to return to his seat, my husband stood up and went to him and gave him a big hug, which was unlike my husband to be so forward in public. Almost an hour after he sat back down, my husband said to me that “his whole right side” which had pressed against Fr. Scheier, “was buzzing” since he sat down. We both felt it was a Sign of the Special Graces of Our Blessed Mother which were in him, together with his now intensified Union with Jesus. Deo Gratias for Fr. Scheier!!! May Our Lord Bless all Priests through the Immaculate Heart of Mary Our Mother!
    Fr. Scheier, Ora pro Nobis!🙏🙏

  28. 4 years ago today, I spoke on the phone with Fr. Stephen, we prayed together, then I drove down to the Rhoda Wise House in Canton, OH to get him Holy water from there to mail to him. I stopped in the grotto long enough to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, it was about 10:30. I learned he died that same morning. I am praying a Divine Mercy Chaplet for him right now! Eternal rest Grant umto him oh Lord…
