Stuart Ciccone

Stuart Ciccone was born to Anthony and Kathleen Ciccone on September 20, 1946. On Sunday, March 14, 2021, he went to be with our Lord. He served in the United States Army until September of 1966 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. In December of 1966, Stuart joined the Wichita Fire Department, became Captain, and retired from there in 1987. He went on to purchase Eagle Environmental which he owned and operated until 2012 when he retired again. Survivors: wife, Mary; daughters, Shannon Ciccone of Phoenix AZ, Sarah (Ryan) Nguyen of Garden Grove, CA; sons, Michael Ciccone of Vinita OK and Jordan Ciccone of Wichita; sister, Carolyn (Larry) Simmons of Derby; brother, David (Deeann) Ciccone of Derby; grandchildren, Maxwell, Ethan (Franchesca) and Chloe Ciccone, Aiyanna Nguyen; 2 great-grandchildren. Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17; Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 18, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Memorial established with the Lord’s Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
