Stuart E. Simpson

Stuart E. Simpson, passed away January 22, 2020. He was born April 8, 1936, in Steam Mill, Kings County, Nova Scotia, Canada. He attended elementary and high school there before moving to the United States to work and become a U.S. citizen in 1966. He lived most of his adult life in and around Wichita. He owned and operated Simco, a manufacturing plant, making parts for the U.S. military. He later worked and retired from Bombardier in 1999. He was an avid golfer, loved country music and western movies. Stuart is survived by his wife, Earline Simpson; sons, David Simpson of Nova Scotia, Steve Simpson and Jeromy Simpson both of Wichita; one daughter, Nancy Crawford of Nova Scotia; stepson, Tom Reh; stepdaughter, Terri Goble both of Wichita; sisters, Betty Corkum, Kay Keezer Mitchell, Margret Dwyer; brother, Bob Simpson; half-brother, John Simpson all of Nova Scotia; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Stuart was preceded in death by parents, James “John” H. and Annie (Veinot) Simpson; brother, John S. Simpson, and son, Kevin Simpson. Relatives and friends may personally call on Mrs. Simpson and family at her home between 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., February 1, 2020. Memorials established with Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, 3450 N.
