Sue Goates, 71, Bookkeeper, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Rosary and Visitation will be at 7:00 pm, Monday, December 19, 2022; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 20, 2022, both at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover, KS.Sue was a dedicated employee at Acell Construction Co. She enjoyed being at home sewing and crafting. As a member of High Hoops, Sue enjoyed watching the Wichita State Women’s Basketball team.With her love of sewing, she made many ribbon shirts for Richard to use in Native ceremonies. She was a very organized person and always knew where everything was. At Christmas, Sue wanted everyone to have some sort of present under the tree. Sue loved her kitties, Fancy and Cinnamon.Sue’s husband would bring Boy Scouts to the house for meetings and Sue would play hostess to them, making sure there were treats present. Sue will be missed by a lot of nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters.Preceded in death by her father, Eddie Balluch; brother, Christopher (Illa) Balluch; sister-in-law, Debbie Goates.Survived by her husband, Richard Goates of Wichita; friend, Don Ewertt, and his companion, Sharon Adams; mother, Dorothy Balluch; brothers, Eugene Balluch, Eddie Balluch, Donald (Rose) Balluch; sister, Donna (Chuck) Dufault; brother-in-law, Wayne (Janell) Goates; nephews, Tyson (Antonya) Balluch, Kevin Balluch, Brian (Stephanie) Goates; nieces, Tennessa (Tyler Miller) Balluch, Kelsey (Caleb) Gaylord, Tierra (Jessie) Rust, Kourtney Balluch, Jessica (Shad) Allen, Angela (Montie) Slaven.In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S.
