Crane, Susan A., 71, child of God, through faith in Christ, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and the former Director of the Wichita State University Lutheran Center. Visitation with the Family will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M, Friday, May 22, 2015, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East; Visitation will also be from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, St. Louis, MO. Preceded in death by her father, Everett Heggemeier. Survived by her husband, Rev. Jeffrey Crane; daughters, Christina (Darrin) Houck of Maryville, IL, Jenny (Ian) Hemmings of Orange, CA; mother, Johanna Heggemeier of St. Louis, MO; siblings, Lois Kersten of Barnhart, MO, Carol Bell of Arcadia, MO, Gail Winningham of Dallas, TX, Lyle Heggemeier of Fairport, NY; grandchildren, Tanner, Shelby, Sarah, Ella, Claire.
