Susan Jan Renner, 74, of Goddard, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was an elementary school teacher for Goddard USD 265. Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2019, at Goddard United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Jennie Adler and twin sister, Sara “Ann” Birt. Survivors: husband, Jan; sons, James (Alison) Renner and Jonathan (Catherine) Renner; grandchildren, Harrison, Landon and Jace Renner. Memorial established with Alzheimers Association, 1820 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67214. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

Sending much sympathy and prayers from the Buchanan Families. We have so many great memories of Jan. I can still see her smile and hear her contagious laugh. She was so encouraging when I worked at the PLC while getting my education degree. Her life exemplifies my favorite saying, “Life is too short to be anything but happy!” We are sorry for your loss!
