Susanne Jo Barth Crown Richardson

Susanne Jo Barth Crown Richardson, 78, of Wichita, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. Susanne was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Richardson. A graveside service will be held December 4, 2023, at 2 pm at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, KS.Born August 13, 1945, and raised in Augusta, Susanne attended college and became a homemaker, raising her son Jeff. Later she worked for Wichita Public Schools as an office administrator. Susanne loved reading cookbooks, many times melding several recipes and creating many delicious dishes for family gatherings. She was an outstanding cook! In retirement she enjoyed the friendship of neighbors Steve and Gary, friends Audrey and Tara and reveled in the antics of her and Bill’s miniature dachshunds.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tabitha Crown of Augusta; brother and sister-in-law, Jim (Jamie) and Kathleen Barth of Rose Hill; granddaughter, Aria Crown of Augusta.A memorial has been established with Castle Park Fund.
