Suzanne Gardner

Gardner, Suzanne Marie, aged 67 passed away on June 4, 2015 in Wichita, KS. Survived by husband Stephen; children Brandy Elkins of Austin, TX; and Stephen Jr. of Kansas City. MO; grandchildren Drew, Joshua, and Christopher; and brother Ernie Jarke of Wichita. Proceeded in death by father Ernst Jarke of Omaha, NE and Evalyn Hall of Santa Cruz, CA. She was deeply loved by her family, friends and dogs; and loved them deeply in return. A child of the sixties, Suzanne fought injustice and defied authority throughout her life. Whether questioning experts, challenging the powerful, or helping the needy; Suzanne never shied away from expressing and acting on her beliefs and opinions. She was a great friend and a ferocious enemy. Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, June 10 at 10:30 AM at Greenwich Cemetery, 37th St N and Webb Rd.
