Sylverina "Silver" Depperschmidt, 95, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Silver was born in Liebenthal, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Magdalene Enslinger; husband, Harold Depperschmidt; 2 brothers; 1 sister. Silver was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and was active in Harvest House and the Prayer line. She also enjoyed working in her gardens, spending time with family and friends, and going to the Senior Center. Silver retired from Research Partnership as a data collector. She is survived by her sister, Viola (Clem) Unrein of Hays, KS; brother, Corny Enslinger of Lenexa, KS; daughters, Carol Allen of Bel Aire, KS, Mary (Darrell) Taylor of Wichita, KS, Donna Chippeaux of Wichita, KS, Nancy (David) Sponsel of Wichita, KS; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities and Linwood Senior Center.
