Teresa Ann Richardson, beloved wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend, passed away on March 25, 2025, surrounded by those who loved and supported her in her final journey. Teresa was born in Wichita on October 4th, 1950, the second child and first daughter of Brad and Mary Ann Thompson. The family would eventually grow to include her younger sister, and two younger brothers. Teresa grew up with a sense of style, which she honed in her adult years as anyone who knew her could attest to. She also had a fierce protective streak, especially when it came to her younger siblings, as well as having a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. She attended Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary ‘s Catholic schools early on and graduated from North High School in the class of 1969. She spent several years working at Dold Foods until marriage to her husband, Forrest, gave her the freedom to become a “domestic engineer”, i.e. homemaker - at which she excelled. She was an excellent cook, baker, interior decorator, and an avid cross-stitcher in her later years. Teresa loved her faith, and for several years she volunteered her time by helping out in the St. Mary’s Cathedral office. Teresa also enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Germany, Polynesia, Destin, Florida, and the road trip she made via convertible to Indiana with her friends. Among her favorite things, was spending time with her family and friends. Teresa was preceded in death by both of her parents, and is survived by her husband, Forrest, elder brother, Stephen (Susanne) Thompson, sister, Rebecca (Randy) Holm, younger brothers, Timothy and Tony Thompson, brother-in-law, Kevin (Susan) Richardson, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces/great-nephews who knew her as “Aunt TT”, her two fur-babies, Maysie and Millie, and her feather-baby, Piper. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Wichita, Kansas.
