  1. Ann,Linda,Libby,& Rob, Tom meant so much to so many people, touching lives through his ministery, providing hope and comfort and acceptance in christ. none more than the murphy family. he was always there to help us through our darkest times, providing comfort and hope when all seemed lost. He helped to shape the man I’ve become, and the message I carry to others. I know how difficult this time is for all of you, and I wish I could be near to offer my support, comfort and strength. Most of which I owe to Tom in some way. He was always my spiritual leader, and will continue to be after his passing. I look forward to the time when we will all be together again. I know he is preparing a place for all of us. I love Tom and all of you for the life I’ve been given. You’all are in my thoughts and prayers. It’s hard, but remember how blessed we all were to share our lives and call each other friends. I hope that you find peace in this knowledge. I am so sorry for your loss. phillip

  2. We became acquainted with Rev. Rawlings in l987 when he agreed to marry us at his church. We then lost track of him and Ann until we discovered they were sitting behind us at WMT each year. My wife and I were delighted to again become acquainted with them. We are very saddened to hear of his passing and would like Ann to know that we are including her in our thoughts and prayers Also, as a retired military officer, I am proud to have known a fellow military veteran who served faithfully and especially as a chaplain.

  3. Ann and Family: I am very saddened to learn of Tom’s death. A flood of memories come to mind about the many conversations Tom and I had together through the years. I so enjoyed working with him (and you) during my time as organist at Westwood. Please know I’m thinking of you during this time. With much love –

  6. The Rawlings Family, I am sorry for your loss. I will remember Chaplain Rawlings as a very compassionate man and a christian soldier. We spoke on many occasions about various subjects when he was an Army Chaplain. He was dedicated to the US Army and its soldiers. I am better off for having known him.
