Ms. Thelma will be missed! I will never forget her rocking red hair, and when she asked me if she could go get a tattoo!! I just loved her spirit and love for everyone! Andrea, you are such a beautiful calming spirit! Full of love and compassion in caring for your momma and everyone around you! I sincerely wish your family peace in knowing you have loved and cared for Ms. Thelma through this journey and strength to carry you forward in confidence in the Lord. My prayers are with you all, and you will be in my thoughts through this goodbye.
As part of the work/study program at Derby High School, I worked for the Air Force detachment at Boeing. I was assigned to Thelma in the library. Thelma was lovely. She was always kind, generous and a great mentor. We shared many good times and much laughter. Its been 38 years since Ive seen Thelma, and I have never forgotten her. I count myself blessed to have known her.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
