Thomas Paul Wingate

Wingate, Thomas Paul, was born August 4, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas to Garold and Diane Wingate and died at his residence in Kingwood, Texas on January 29, 2007 at the age of 45. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Downing and Lahey Mortuary East. Interment will follow in Kensington Gardens Cemetery. Tom earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas and his Masters from Wichita State University while maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Tom pledged Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity while at the University of Kansas and has continued many of the fraternity friendships until this day. He is a noted and published author, geologist and most especially, a devoted husband, father and friend to all. He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty years, Brenda; daughters, Laura Ann Wingate and Julie Ann Wingate; brothers, Tim Wingate and his wife, Kim, Steve Wingate and his wife Heather, and Mike Wingate and his wife Jennifer; parents, Garold and Diane Wingate; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
