Thomas Vernon Trower

Thomas Vernon Trower, 92, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 2, at First Christian Church of Sedgwick, 514 N. Franklin Ave., Sedgwick, KS. Thomas dedicated forty years of service to KAW Transport. He was an avid woodworker and a "Jack of All Trades". Preceded in death by his parents, Gretten and Grace Trower; first wife, Aldean Trower; son, Marc Trower; stepson, Jerry Pulaski; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors: wife, Jorena; daughters, Diane Hill of Ellinwood, Brenda Baconrind of El Dorado, and Shari (Kirt) Winter of San Diego, CA; son, Don (Ellie) Trower of Wichita; daughter-in-law, Nancy Trower; stepson, Jeff Pulaski; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with many relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
