Thomas Wayne Jones, 72, of Wichita, KS, sadly left us on April 8, 2024 following a battle with illness and health.Thomas is survived by his wife of nearly fifty years, Debra Jones (née Duke); their children, Hildee Jones, Tyson Jones and Tad Jones; his siblings, Marvin Jones and Jacque Murray (née Jones); and his grandchildren, Quinan Montoya-Jones, Harper Jones and Sebastian Jones. He is preceded in death by siblings, Jennifer Wiley (née Jones), Norman Jones, Gwynneth Christian (née Jones), Neitha Oland (née Jones); and his parents, Melvin Jones and Lois Jones (née Morgan). Tom graduated Southeast High school in 1969. He married the love of his life, Debbie, in the spring of 1974. Tom worked diligently at Boeing and Spirit Aerosystems for many years before retiring in 2013. He enjoyed working on vintage cars, home renovation, gardening, and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and all the people he loved. Private family services were held at Lakeview Cemetery.Services in care of Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.

My sincere condolences to the family. I had the privilege to work with Tom for many years. He could be the voice of reason and lightened hard times. He truly cared about his employees but most importantly was proud of his family. Rest in Peace my friend.
One of the best managers to work with at Struts and Nacelles. A soft-spoken and kind person I enjoyed working with. My condolences to his family. RIP Tom.
Tom was so kind to me, when I worked for him at Spirit Aero Systems. He was exceptionally fine and Loving individual.

I went to grade, middle and high school with Tom, we lived a block apart even though we lost touch through the years I always thought he was such a sweetheart. So sad and sorry to hear the news. Condolences to Debbie and family. 😢
