Thurmagene “Jean” Bright, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and retired Cessna Aircraft upholsterer, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. Visitation with the family, 6-7 p.m., Monday, January 14, Downing Lahey Mortuary West; Service, 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, Tyler Road Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Jim; parents, Thurman and Ruth (Bridges) Godfrey. Survivors: children, Deborah Bayless (Cloys) of Bentley, Cheryl Peterman and Jamie Bright (Laurie) all of Maize; siblings, Larry Godfrey (Elizabeth), Kay Saylors (Dorman) and Phyllis Turney; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Memorial to Good Shepherd Hospice.
