Toni Lynn Stephenson

Toni Lynn Stephenson, 61, Oil Lease Analyst, died Saturday, July 16, 2022. Chapel and graveside services will be held on Saturday July 30th, at 11 AM in Oklahoma City at Resurrection Cemetery at 7801 N.W. Expressway. Toni loved her children above anything else and cherished them dearly. They were always first and last in her thoughts to the very end. In addition to her children, Toni raised many dogs in her life. Animals were Toni’s second love. Numerous turtles owe their current existence to Toni’s assistance in getting them across a busy road. When catching anyone’s uncomprehending looks during these rescues she could be known to respond “I don’t care what you think, that’s just who I am.” Toni had many lifelong friends with whom she was a strong presence and who will miss her dearly. Toni loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was ready to meet Him. Toni was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Kay (Snider) Walker, paternal grandparents Francis W Walker and Edith Mae “Maisie” Walker, maternal grandparents Jeff and Jessie Snider. Her uncle Lynn Hickey and her aunt Mary Ann (Snider) Nance. Survived by her husband, Brian Stephenson; Son, Andrew Stephenson; daughter, Aubrey Stephenson, all of Wichita KS; Father, Al Walker, and his wife Cindy Walker of OK. Brother, Jeff Walker of AK. Her aunt Olivia Hickey plus a host of cousins and friends. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Downing & Lahey Mortuary – East Chapel.
