Tonja Nichole "Niki" Mullin

Tonja Nichole “Niki” Perez Mullin was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 13, 1976, to her parents Jan and Kaye Perez. She lit up the world for 48 years, and passed from this earth on May 10, 2024. Niki graduated from Goddard High School in 1994. She then attended several schools and colleges including Wichita State University and Heritage College, eventually receiving licenses as Certified Medical Assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant. She is survived by her husband, Chris Mullin; her daughter, Madalynn May Perez Mullin; her parents; her sister, Dixie Lachelle Perez-McBee; and a host of friends and loved ones. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219. Memorial Service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.

Niki, One of my very favorite memories of you was taking you to dinner and watching you eat your first lobster. You were 16 and unfortunately that was a little before we had cell phones to photograph those precious moments. You were so intrigued with the bib they put on you, the candle under the butter, and the lemon wrapped with net to catch the seeds. You always loved eating lobster and I had so much fun introducing you to it.
