Diaz, Tony H., 72, retired Via Christi RMC St. Francis housekeeping employed, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Rosary service 7:00 P.M. Friday, and funeral mass 10:00 A.M. Saturday, both at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survivors: daughter son-in-law, Tonya Joe Sanchez, of Wichita; granddaughters, Santanna, Natasha, and Ciera Carrion; brother, Manuel, of Wichita; sisters, Eva Clanton, Mary Martinez, Andrea Martinez, all of Wichita, Victoria Torres, of Ft. Worth, TX., Marcella Blaylock, of Hesperia, CA; and many nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. A memorial fund has been established with Faith Home Health and Hospice, 7804 E. Funston, Wichita, Kansas, 67207.

My heart was saddened when I read in the paper this morning of Tony’s death. He was the person who always greeted me with a warm smile when I left the hospital after a long day. It was a joy to see Tony because he lifted your spirit. He was always seen pushing a cart and working hard. I will miss him as I always looked forward to our meeting. Know that he was loved for the love he showed others and the example he showed in doing God’s work.
