Tonya Atta, 51, Vice President of the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission, died Monday, February 26, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her father, James Scott; nephew, Braxton. Survived by her husband, Sam Atta of Wichita; mother, Carol Scott; sisters, Melissa Vinther, Amanda Bice, Shawn Elsen; grandmother, Billie Smith; nephews, Brett, Blake, Brian, Zain, Logan, Hunter; nieces, Aubrey, Emma, Christine, Sara, Samantha, Summer, Keeley, Avia.
