Travis Jerome Littlejohn

Travis J. Littlejohn, 56, business owner, entered eternal salvation on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Travis was known for his hard work, superb intelligence, dedication, and immense love for his family and friends.
Travis loved spending time with family and friends, helping whoever he could, offering advice and guidance, going to the farm, spending winters in Florida, and always being with his little dogs. He loved family gatherings around good food and wonderful conversation, and sharing his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
He grew up working hard on the family business, Superior Pools, and running a full crew as a young teenager. Through years of hard work, dedication and knowledge he helped turn his dad’s thought of owning a pool business into a successful and strong business.
At the young age of 18, Travis started Apex Trucking with one truck and many, many hours of hard work. Through his dedication, he was able to grow the company into what it is today; a successful business with 100 employees who loved and respected Travis and were proud to call him their friend.
Travis is preceded in death by his father, James Keith Littlejohn.
He is survived by his mother, Renee Louise Littlejohn; wife, Sandra “Sandy” Littlejohn; children, Miles Wedel and Lauren (Wedel) Littlejohn; brothers, Gary (wife, Lara) Littlejohn, Ben (wife, Lauren) Littlejohn; sisters, Karen (husband, Dennis) Ritchie and Jennifer (husband, Scott) Karst; granddaughter, Madeline Littlejohn; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 am at Botanic Gardens, Terrace Room. All attendees will be able to enjoy the gardens. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm at Apex Trucking, 302 W. 61st Street North, Park City, Kansas with the thing Travis loved -- desserts.
Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.
Travis loved Apex and put in a lot time and hard work, and he loved running into his drivers when he was out driving his. He ran into me one day at AMS and he wanted a picture of his truck 88 and truck 102 together. So I share this memory with ya’ll. He was one heck of a boss! I will deeply miss him and our walks around the yard.
Sincerely
Derrick Arrasmith
I have so many wonderful memories of Travis. As children we had a lot of experiences. The funniest one was the time we caught a tree on fire. I loved Travis. And his entire family!
You are in my thoughts. The best friend, a man can ever haveI remember pool league that was awesome. I really enjoyed the time with you my friend.
Such a great guy. So many great memories from childhood. Travis had his father’s gift for story telling. I know he is worshipping at the feet of Jesus.
I was honored to know Travis. He was an amazing person to know working for him indirectly as a driver and at a sand plant in the scale house at AMS. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.
I am glad to have met Travis! He never looked down on anyone and was always part of the group! Someone who cared! I am very sad to hear of his passing and my heart is with all his family! The world lost a GREAT person!
I grew up knowing Travis as my uncle. Although we were not related by blood, he never made me feel any different.
I’m deeply grateful for the positive influence he had in my life—he was a true role model.
It was heartbreaking to hear the news of his passing. My thoughts are with his wonderful family during this difficult time.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Littlejohn family.
