Richardson, Dorothy V., 90, farm wife, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Visitation with family is 4:00 to 6:00 pm Friday at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Services are 10:00 am Saturday at Valley Center United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Jack and brother Glenn Steeg. Survivors include son, Charles Richardson of Valley Center; daughter, Judy Carlson of Atlanta, GA; sister, Wilma Clifford of Augusta, GA; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Valley Center United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park Avenue, Valley Center, KS 67147.

We are driving to wichita at Nevada, TX and Cynthia sent us word of Dorothy’s passing. We know you will miss her greatly but bre assurred she is in the presence of our Lord and is much happier than she was in the nursing home. My memory is less and less each year but I still have many fond memories of your fine family. I remember most the times that I worked for Jack and Charles and the times that I visited with Dorothy, last at the cemetery on Memorial day as she sat in the car during the ceremony.
