VaLetta Longhofer, 94, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Saturday, February 18, 2023. Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Reiswig; second husband, Carl Longhofer; parents, Dietrich and Mary Loewen; step-son, Jeff Longhofer; 2 brothers; 2 sisters. Survived by her son, Stan Reiswig; daughters, Sheryl Reiswig, both of Wichita, Nancy (Jerry) Brown of Lee's Summit, MO; grandchild, Kyle Brown; step-grandchildren, Nicholas and Cale Longhofer; 1 step-great-grandchild. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Not many things in life are harder than loosing someone we love, Jehovah God promises to help us cope during such difficult times. 1Peter 5:7 says “while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” Jehovah God provides us a beautiful hope at John 5:28,29 where it speaks of a “resurrection” Im so sorry for your loss.
