I was deeply saddened to learn of Vaughn’s death.I haven’t seen Vaughn since he became a man, but I remember the smart, cute little boy I used to babysit, along with his little brother, Billy. I remember reading to them and if it was getting late and it was time for bed I would try to skip a page but Vaughn had the book memorized and immediately would bring it to my attention. I loved taking care of those little boys, and June was always so nice to me. Your family has my deepest sympathy, and my prayers.
My brothers and I grew up with Vaughn. He was a kind, thoughtful and loving young person and adult. He was one of my brother Mike’s best friends, and he was the best man at his wedding. It was a priviledge to know him and I thank God for allowing our friendship to renew these last few years. I send my prayers and thoughts to his family at this difficult time.
We will truly miss Vaughn. He and Linda’s life together was truly a love story.
